Secure a soft tape measure, then place it around your head about 1 finger width above your ears and eyebrows, crossing the center of the forehead. Do not pull the tape measure too tight, as you want the hat to fit comfortably.

Read the measurement. Repeat 2 to 3 times to ensure you have the correct measurement. You can use inches or centimeters (cm is easier).

Should you discover your measurement is in between sizes, we suggest you choose the next largest size. If there is still confusion, seek professional assistance.

To reduce the size of your hat [e.g. from a 7 3/8 (Large) to 7 1/4 (Large) or 7 1/8 (Medium) to 7(Medium)], cut a 2-3" strip, peel away the plastic backing and adhere to the inner sweatband in the front or back of your hat. Apply more where necessary to achieve a balanced fit. Hat size reducers can be found on various websites or at your local hardware store (single-sided adhesive 3/16’’ to 1/2’’ thick foam weather-strip).
